Why you didn’t do the things you wanted to in 2018 Hint: It has to do with your Enneagram type

Poor St. Paul! He wanted to know why he did the things he didn’t want to do …

…and why he didn’t do the things he wanted. Sound familiar? Enneagram teacher Suzanne Stabile has a great story in which she states that when she gets to heaven she will have a lot of questions for St. Paul — but first she will have an answer to his one big question:

“I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.”
— St. Paul the Apostle

Stabile claims that the answer to his nonsensical behavior is his Enneagram type. “What was St. Paul’s Enneagram type?”, you may ask. It doesn’t matter (probably a 6), because whatever our Enneagram type is, that is also the reason we do things that don’t make sense to us.

If you would like to dive into this ancient practice of self-development, I hope you will join me on February 23 for Living the Enneagram Lines of Connections.

Join me, Kathryn Grant and Sue Brooks for this day-long retreat in the natural beauty of the Hill Country. Click here for more details.

Hope to see you there!
